The Pike Oley District Preservation Coalition is a membership organization. It is registered with the state of Pennsylvania as a nonprofit corporation. Its Internal Revenue Code is 501(c)(3).
A grassroots organization, POD/PC works closely with other local conservation/preservation groups. Their finest hour came on October 23, 2000 when a conservation easement on the forty-acre site of the trout hatchery in Lobachsville became a reality. It was the final victory in the famous five-year encounter with the Wissahickon Bottled Water Company in which POD/PC participated..
They remain on mission. Preserving open space, farmland and forests are priority items. You can buttress POD/PC's work by joining or renewing your membership now.
Memberships are renewed annually.
